Whiteside’s Quick Change Tooling was designed for the production environment to allow a quick and easy switch from one tool size to the next. The 7/16” hex design is larger and stronger than most. This design allows the use of larger drill bits and hole saws with our Quick Change Chucks. (Our hex shank tooling will also work great in standard three jaw chucks). The Chucks are provided with a 1/2” hex shank for most applications or with a 3/8” hex shank for use in drills with only a 3/8” capacity. The Quick Change 1/4” Hex Adapter is available so that any 1/4” hex shank bits or drivers can also be used in the main chuck. This system really makes changing tools a snap.
