Use 90 ̊ lead angle heads when performing blind boring, or if the desired hole is not exactly on center with your pilot hole. The 90 ̊ lead will have less tendency to follow the pilot hole.
Adjustment Is This Easy

Procedure:
1. Loosen locking screw
2. Remove any backlash
3. Rotate scale to desired setting
4. Tighten locking screw
