Dual-Contact Spindles
Dual-Contact is a spindle option offered by some machine tool build- ers. Dual-contact means both the toolholder taper and the flange make contact with the spindle. The dual- contact provides increased rigidity and accuracy during machining. Use Techniks DualDRIVE holders if your machine has a dual-contact spindle. A PowerCOAT nut is included with each holder.
ER16 holders come with hex nuts.
For slotted nuts, simply add SLOT-NUT to the end of the part number.
For holders with coolant nut included add -C to the end of the part
Number. CoolFLEX Feature back of flange
CoolFLEX taper holders are factory set for coolant-thru spindle. Simply remove thru DIN coolant hole 2 stop screws for DIN B ck coolant-thru of holder Flange.
