The bottom motor mount design of the 30-300 M1 allows for top return rollers and easier cutter head access for knife changes, and the 5-inch dust chute is angled and offset to avoid interference with the workpiece. The 30-300M1 is equipped with an industrial quality 5 HP 220 volt motor and a magnetic safety switch. The large full cast-iron front and rear extension tables give the unit the look and feel of larger machines, and the extra support they provide is ideal for longer workpieces. The fully enclosed one-piece steel base has built-in lockable wheels to make the 30-300M1 mobile and easy to move in shops with space limitations. The 30-300 M1 has a 3 knife cutter head running at 5000 RPM, a jackscrew style knife setting system with knife setting gauge included for quick accurate knife changes The 30-300M1offers two feed speeds, 16 or 20 feet per minute, for smooth planing results in both soft and hard woods.
