This is a carbide tipped 8 piece cutter set to do 1 3/8 and 1 3/4 thick interior and exterior doors. When making a 1 3/8 thick door you use the the 1/4 knives and get a 1/4 by 5/8 long tenon. When making a 1 3/4 door you use the 1/2 knives and get a 1/2 by 5/8 long tongue. Freeborn offers 12 different options for tenon sizes, plus some other options and combinations. It gets very confusing so if you want do something other than the standard set please give us a call.
