Face clamps ensure a perfectly flush joint every time. Without clamping the joint can misalign if the screw follows the grain, but face clamps keep the workpieces in alignment regardless of the screw's trajectory. The large pad of the clamp keeps the clamp from marring the wood. For flat stock, such as face frames, mitered picture frames and other similar joints the face clamp is a fast and simple solution.

If you like the idea of using our face clamps to keep your joints flush while driving the screw, you'll love the added assembly ease and unlimited flexibility of the Universal Bench Klamp. This clamping system includes a 10" x 10" x 1/4" thick steel plate along with a modified 11" face clamp that easily slides in and out of the channel machined into the plate. Simply rout the steel plate into your workbench to make it flush, insert the clamp and you have a 360 degree pivoting clamping station for all of your pocket hole needs. The clamp is then easily removable to leave you with a perfectly flat work surface. The Universal Bench Klamp also functions as a general hold-down clamp for routing, sanding and securing our other pocket hole tools (Mini Kreg Jig and Rocket Jig) while drilling your pocket holes.
